Dancing with No Shoes

A couple of days before today, our P.E teacher announced that we were going to dance Tiklos [ a Philippine Folk Dance ] for her foreign visitors. They're coming tomorrow. Which means that we're going to perform, yes, tomorrow. Everything was well. Until I discovered that my shoes were broken. It has a hole at the bottom. And I can't seem to dance/practice well because of it. Every time I jumped, it'd fall off. Therefore, I had a little problem.

So a while ago, my classmates and I were practicing. It was time for the "Last Practice". Everything was going well when --Poof!!-- There it was. My shoes were completely destroyed. But I had to go on. I couldn't risk being scolded because I couldn't dance well with them on. So took them off. I danced with no shoes. Because it was Tiklos, I had a partner. His name is Kris. Kris is a funny guy whom I can't take seriously. When he tries to be funny, I laugh. When he tries to be serious, I still laugh. I can't help it. But this time, Kris didn't make me laugh. He made me smile :) He knew about my shoe problem. Of course, he saw me dancing with no shoes. What made me smile is he ,too, took his shoes off so that I won't be dancing like that alone. It was cute because he put his shoes right next to mine. We practiced the whole time without shoes and I had a blast :D In the end, I thanked him for what he did :) It was actually the first time I've seen him do something so nice for me. Now I can REALLY call him a friend :D
